Background: A 2020 BMW R1250GS ADV, its engine fault light is on. Connecting with OBDSTAR MS80, it shows【3A13D6-Accekerator handle grip sensor】.

Solutions: using OBDSTAR MS80 to operate on【Reset of the accelerator grip adaptation values】.

Detail Steps:

①Connect MS80 to Motorcycle, enter into【Moto Diag】;

②Click【All】, input letters such “BMW” in search bar, click【BMW】;

③Click the newest BMW edition；

④Click【Select from vehicle】;

Tips: can also click【Auto ldentify[VIN]】;

⑤Click【R】, 【R 1250 GS Adventure(K51-Liquid Cooled)】;

⑥Click【ENG】, 【Bosch BMS O1(2017-)Euro 4】;

⑦Click【Special Function】 ;

⑧Read note, click【Agree】;

⑨Input password 123, click【Enter】;

⑩Click【Reset of the accelerator grip adaptation values】;

⑪Click【Enter】;

⑫Turn the accelerator grip all the way;

⑬Completely release the accelerator grip;

⑭Adjustment done;

⑮Reading fault codes again, it shows no fault codes. The fault light is off, the problem gets solved.
