Maintenance Tips:

It needs to learn about idle speed control after any maintenance below.

●Uninstall and install throttle

●Clear throttle

●Change throttle

●Uninstall and install idle speed control valve

Using OBDSTAR MS80 to operate on following tests:

【(54)ISC(idle speed control)valve/FID(fast idle solenoid)】

【(67)ISC correction value erasure】

【(87)Air-fuel control learning data erasure】

Detail Steps:

①Connect MS80 to Motorcycle, enter into【Moto Diag】;

②Click【All】, input letters such“YAM”in search bar, click【YAMAHA】;

③Click the newest YAMAHA edition；

④Click【Select from system】;

⑤Click【Auto Scan】;

⑥Turn off the ignition, click【Enter】;

⑦Turn on the ignition, click【Enter】;

⑧Click【Engine Control Unit】;

⑨Click【Active Test】, 【Static Active Test】;

⑩Click【Enter】;

⑪Click【(54)ISC(idle speed control)valve/FID(fast idle solenoid)】;

⑫Click【Actuator Check】 three times within 5 seconds;

⑬Operation successful, it shows 0;

⑭Click【(67)ISC correction value erasure】;

⑮Click【Actuator Check】 three times within 5 seconds, then ISC correction value will be erased;

   Notes: 

               00：the ISC correction value has been erased;

               01：no need to erase the ISC correction value;

               02：erase the ISC correction value.

⑯After ISC correction value erasure, it shows 0;

⑰Click【(87)Air-fuel control learning data erasure】;

⑱Click【Actuator Check】 three times within 5 seconds to erase the air-fuel control learning data. 

⑲After air-fuel control learning data erasure, it shows 0.

Summary

If Motorcycle has idle speed instability or a little bit high after uninstalling and installing, clearing, changing throttle, operate on erasure of ISC correction value and air-fuel control learning to solve the problems.
