Background

The Key Configuration function allows for the programming of new keys. It also supports configuring existing authorized keys into one of three specific modes based on user requirements:

· Normal Mode: Top speed limited to approx. 70 km/h (44 mph). Suitable for daily riding.

· Learning Mode: Top speed limited to approx. 40 km/h (25 mph). Suitable for beginners or low-speed operations.

· Rental Mode: Top speed limited to approx. 40 km/h (25 mph). Suitable for rental and time-management scenarios.

Preparation

Preparation: MOTOMASTER, M001A, M043, an original key (unprogrammed)

Detail Steps:

①Select 【Marine Diag】--【SEA-DOO(BRP)】--Latest Version to enter 【Diagnosis】 ;

②Select【Version (2006-2017)】；

③Select【By system】 ;

④Click【ECM/Immobilizer Module】；

⑤Click【Special Function】, follow the prompts, enter the password 123, Click【OK】 ;

⑥Click【Key Configuration】;

⑦Click【OK】;

⑧Click【Anti-Theft System】;

⑨Check the current status of the immobilizer system. If it is inactive, click the【DESS】button at the bottom to activate it. Once activated, click 【Cancel】 to return to the menu ; 

⑩Click【Add Key】 ; (Note: Before programming keys, it is recommended to use the 【Key Usage】 function to check the number of keys currently stored. The maximum storage capacity is 8 keys. If the memory is full, you must delete an authorized key before adding a new key. See the end of this article for deletion instructions.)

⑪Click【OK】 ;

⑫Select the desired configuration mode for the new key. Follow the device prompts to insert the new key into the ignition switch ;

⑬Verify that the current Key ID: 01B9B7411D000087 is correct, then click【OK】 ; 

⑭Procedure Successful ;

⑮Click【Key Usage】 to confirm the key has been stored in the vehicle's immobilizer system ;

⑯Key ID 01B9B7411D000087 has been configured to Key 6. (Note: In this interface, you can modify the status of each key using the options on the right side.)

Key Deletion Steps:

· Insert the key to be deleted into the vehicle's ignition switch.

· In the diagnostic tool, select the 【Erase Key】option under the 【Key Configuration】 function. The device will automatically identify the key and complete the deletion.

· Once the device prompts that deletion is successful, exit the function interface.
