Background: A 2018 BMW K1600 Bagger has reached its annual service time and the 'SERVICE' maintenance tips appears in the gauge.

Notes: After doing the relevant maintenance items, simply remove the maintenance tips as follows.

Solutions:Using OBDSTAR MS80 to operate on [Read and set maintenance data], [Read and set maintenance intervals for some miles].

Detailed steps:

①Connect MS80 to motorcycle, enter into【MOTO DIAG】;

②Input letters such“BMW”in search bar, click【BMW】;

Tips: by searching keywords, find out related models quickly

③Click the newest BMW edition；

 ④Click【Select from vehicle】、【K】、【K1600Bagger（K61）】；

 ⑤Click【Service system（Service Lamp Reset）】；

⑥Click【Enter】;

  Tips: can click【Diag Socket】or【Diag Connector】check diag socket or cable information

⑦Click【Special Function】;

⑧Read note, click【Agree】;

⑨Input 123, click【Enter】;

⑩Click【Read and set the SERVICE data】;

⑪Click【Enter】;

⑫Click【OK】;

⑬Click【NO】to correct current date；

⑭Click【Enter】; 

Note: If the current date is (30 November 2022) then enter (30112022) and enter the next maintenance date in the order of day, month and year

⑮Confirm the current date, follow the device prompts，click【Enter】；

⑯Click【Enter】;

⑰Insert the correct time and click【Enter】; 

Note: If the current time is (14:19) then enter (1419)

⑱Confirm the current time, follow the device prompts, click【Enter】；

⑲Click【Enter】；

⑳【Read and set the SERVICE data】procedure successful, click【OK】;

㉑Click【Read and set the service interval for partial mileage】;

㉒Click【Enter】;

㉓The current partial mileage SERVICE is【Km】: 0 ; set the partial service mileage according to initial value, click 【Enter】;

㉔Click【Enter】, set the next service date at 10,000 km;

Tips: can click【Esc】to set next mileage by manual

㉕Click【Enter】

㉖Next service mileage procedure successful, click【Enter】;

㉗Turn the vehicle key to the 【OFF】,【ON】gear position when prompted;

㉘Maintenance tips has been removed.
