Background

Background: A 2020 BMW R1250GS ADV, after cleaning its throttle, its engine fault light keeps on. Fault codes show [3A1622-Throttle valve 1 check] [3A1400-Throttle valve 1] [3A1401 -Throttle valve 1] [3A13D6-Accelerator handle grip sensor] reading out via OBDSTAR MS80.

Note: 3A13D6-Accelerator handle grip sensor, this fault code needs to be removed by executing 'Reset of the accelerator grip adaptation values' via OBDSTAR MS80.

Details Steps:

①Connect MS80 to Motorcycle, enter into【MOTO DIAG】;

②Click【All】,  input letters such“BMW” in search bar, click【BMW】;

Tips: by searching keywords, find out related models quickly.

③Click BMW latest edition；

④Click【Select from vehicle】;

Remarks: can click【Auto Identify（VIN）】to enter into models.

⑤Click【R】,【R 1250GS Adventure(K51-Liquid Cooled)】;

⑥Click【ENG】;

⑦Click【Enter】;

⑧Click【Special Function】;

⑨Read note, click【Agree】;

⑩Input 123, click【Enter】;

⑪Click【Reset of the throttle valve adaptation values】;

⑫Click【Enter】;

⑬The motorcycle is off automatically. Pls wait for a while.

⑭After switching ignition on, 【Reset of the throttle valve adaptation values】done, click【Enter】;

⑮Clear fault codes. Tips on dashboard has been removed successfully. Operation done.

Note: 3A13D6-Accelerator handle grip sensor, this fault code needs to be removed by executing 'Reset of the accelerator grip adaptation values' via OBDSTAR MS80.
