Background：A 2008 BMW F 800 ST,after replace the instrument，the instrument mileage keep flashing with fault code: 9335【Difference in total mileage between BMS-K and instrument cluster】.

Solutions

Tools Required：MS80、M001/M001A、M040

Steps：By using MS80, enter【Odometer writing（totalizer）】，clear faulty code，problem sovled.

Detailed Steps：

①Connect MS80 to Motorcycle, enter 【BMW】，click【Auto Identify[VIN]】；

   Tips：you can also enter【Select from vehicle】 to enter model manually;

②After confirm if the VIN is correct, click【Enter】;

③Enter 【CIP - Special Settings】，click【Odometer alignment】;

④Click【Enter】;

Tips：click【Diag Socket】or【Diag Connector】can check the socket location or diag cable information.

⑤Enter【Special Function】，click【Odometer writing(totalizer)】；

⑥Click【Enter】,follow the machine tips to operate:

⑦Clear faulty code.

⑧Then diagnose again，no faulty code，problem solved.

After replacing the instrument, the instrument mileage is deviated from the mileage stored in the engine ECU, causing the meter's mileage to flash, lead a fault code, and perform odometer calibration to solve the problem.
