Fulfilling a promise made at the end of last year, the entire OBDSTAR team rallied together for our 2026 Spring Outing on May 29th. Designed to enrich employees' work-life balance, relieve stress, and strengthen team cohesion, this year's excursion officially kicked off under the inspiring theme: "Galloping into Spring, Advancing with Determination, Walking Side by Side, and Journeying to Mountains and Waters." Radiating high spirits and vibrant energy, OBDSTAR partners forged our strength through unity and embraced the journey with unwavering passion!
The itinerary carefully selected three unique destinations: the Yunfu Xiangshun Jinshuitai Hot Spring Resort, Tianlu Mountain National Forest Park, and the Jiangmen Kaiping Ecological Orchard. The trip combined leisure and wellness, engaging team building, outdoor adventures, and fruit picking. It perfectly balanced activity with relaxation, ensuring everyone found their own joy.
The first stop was the Yunfu Xiangshun Jinshuitai Hot Spring Resort, kicking off a relaxing and healing spring retreat. In the afternoon, partners gathered at Sun Island Water Park for a cool carnival! Everyone played freely, radiating their youthful vitality. As dusk fell, small groups gathered in the hot springs to soothe their fatigue and unwind, recharging their batteries for the upcoming adventures.
Kicking off a vibrant Day 2, the fun team-building challenges ignited the team's passion! The activities featured a point-based system to spice up the friendly competition. This immersive atmosphere of rivalry fully mobilized everyone's enthusiasm. Every cheer was fought for the team; every relay brought us closer together.
"Challenge Number One" started at top speed, and the scene was instantly electrified. In the "Untangling the Human Knot" game, team leaders guided members to gather in a circle with hands tightly interlocked. Without breaking the chain, we skillfully used techniques like ducking, stepping over, and weaving to untangle the "knot". Through repeated attempts and continuous fine-tuning, we successfully untied the complex "knot" into a perfect circle. The team's chemistry quietly blossomed throughout this engaging interaction! The "Penguin Walk" was hilariously fun; while the movements seemed simple, they tested each member's balance and coordination. Sharing tips and brainstorming actively, we broke down barriers and closed the distance amidst laughter. Team cohesion and a sense of belonging reached an all-time high, with youthful vigor overflowing!
In the afternoon, an outdoor carnival at Tianlu Mountain brought a rush of adrenaline and freedom! The canyon rafting was an absolute adrenaline rush from start to finish. With a total drop of 188 meters and a maximum single drop of 20 meters, the experience was nothing short of extreme. Our kayaks bobbed and weaved through the rapids, riding the waves as splashes flew everywhere amidst wild screams. Everyone let loose, releasing all their stress and unleashing their energy, fully immersing themselves in the sheer thrill and freedom of racing along the crest of the waves. The winding glass water slide glided through lush green mountains and clear waters. Riding the boat downstream, everyone enjoyed the unique experience of surfing through the air, leaving us wanting more. The leisurely mountain-circling mini-train traveled through forests and past flower fields, taking in the magnificent views of Tianlu Mountain.
The final stop took us to the Kaiping Ecological Orchard to start a "Tasting + Picking" session. Some enjoyed a quick taste under the shelter, others strolled through the fruit trees, bending over to pick the ripe ones, and some even climbed the branches to grab the biggest fruits, all sharing in the joy of the harvest. This leisurely pastoral time drew a warm and perfect conclusion to our excursion.
This excursion allowed OBDSTAR partners to step away from their desks, embrace nature, relieve stress, and heal their minds. Moreover, through fun competitions and united collaboration, we forged our team strength, comprehensively boosting our cohesion, unity, and combat effectiveness. Throughout the journey, everyone was full of vitality, unity, and friendliness, fully showcasing the healthy, positive, and enterprising spirit of the OBDSTAR team. Every beautiful moment has been captured and treasured in our hearts, becoming a warm and exclusive mark for all OBDSTAR people.
